Our Bosch dishwasher model number SHE68T55UC/02 was the worst dishwasher we have ever had. The print on the front panel faded shortly after we purchased it, and Bosch would not come out to replace the panel. We were given a price of one hundred dollars to have the work done!
In addition, there was a safety recall requiring power cords in the model we owned be replaced. Also, there was a very toxic smell when you opened the dishwasher after a cycle, dishes were not clean, and water sat in the drain area at the bottom of the dishwasher. The water in our glasses tasted so toxic that we had to wash them by hand. Bosch customer service was the worst. We spent countless hours on the phone trying to get answers to our problems. They did send two representatives, but neither had a sense of smell, and both dismissed our concerns as inconsequential. The two visits required time off from work and hours of wasted time.
We will never purchase a Bosch dishwasher again. We love our KitchenAid dishwasher and highly recommend them. Anonymous I have had a Bosch dishwasher for about 8 months. All started well, but today it is throwing the dreaded E-28 code. I've cleaned out the drain sump as best I can without getting down on the floor and opening things up. I am trying a test wash now, but hold out little hope. I still have a warranty, but that's always a toss of the dice.

Against my better judgment I didn't stick with a brand known to me to work well despite the reputation. The Gentle Grizzly. Jordan, 100% agree. I had a great experience with Bosch appliances during 20 years of living in Europe.
My appliances did not start failing until providing 15 years of service, the dish washer went first. So, returning to the States I replaced our Whirlpool dishwasher with a Bosch. An absolute piece of junk. In 4 years we have replaced 2 control units and a water pump. The appliance is used twice a week, family size is 2.
Either Meile or a familiar US brand will replace this piece of junk. Good luck to those that buy a Bosch dishwasher.
